This course on Personal Safety consists of four parts.
On completing all Five parts, children will be able to identify unsafe
situations, both online and offline and learn to seek help in such situations.
These courses are for adolescents between 14 to 18 years.
These courses are free for all.
It will take 20 - 30 minutes to finish each part in the course.
In this course, we will introduce you to Child Sexual Abuse and give you an overview of the stories that you will watch as you go forward in this series on Personal Safety.
You will also watch Aparna’s story and understand the steps that can be taken when you find yourself in an unsafe situation, online.
In this course, you will learn about safety in relationships, personal boundaries, and how to identify healthy and unhealthy behaviours.
In this course, you will watch Joanne’s story to understand relationships and boundaries. Here, you will also learn about the law, Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO), that supports anyone under 18 years in cases of Sexual Abuse.
In this course, you will watch Arun’s story and understand the steps that can be taken when you find yourself in an unsafe situation. You will also understand why it can be difficult to say 'No' to someone.
In this course, you will watch Anshul’s story and learn how to identify your helpful adult. You will understand the importance of telling and seeking help, and why it can sometimes be difficult to talk about an unsafe situation.
